Getting started

From remix link to your own live site, in about half an hour.

Thank you for buying Freehold. Everything below happens in Framer; you don't need any other tool or account. If you get stuck at any step, write to support@freeholdtemplate.com with your order number.

1. Remix the project

• Open your remix link (on your order page and in your email) while signed in to Framer. No Framer account yet? Sign up free at framer.com first, then open the link again.
• Click Remix. The whole project, with every page, component, CMS item and the Arabic locale, is copied into your workspace. It's yours from now on.
• Your link is for your licence only. Please don't share it.

2. See it live once

• Click Publish in the top right. Framer gives you a free framer.website address, so you can check the site on your phone straight away.
• Publishing on a framer.website address is free. A custom domain, removing the Framer badge, or keeping the Arabic version live on your own site needs a Framer site plan, bought from Framer.

3. Make it yours

• Name and logo: the header and footer show the fictional agency "Freehold Estates". Replace the name, the logo and the contact details in the header and footer components; every page updates at once.
• Colours and fonts: change them in the project's colour and text styles, so the whole site follows.
• Your listings: open the CMS. Properties (20 demo listings), Locations (9 cities), Unit Types, Team (4 brokers) and Insights (4 articles) are all there. Edit or duplicate a demo item rather than starting from empty: every field is already wired to the pages.
• Prices and currency: each property has its price, currency and a normalised euro price used by the price filters. Keep the euro field filled in when you add listings so they show up in the right price band.
• Pick your home page: the five alternative home layouts are listed in the footer under "Template pages". Copy the one you like into the Home page, then delete the rest and that footer column.

4. Inquiries

• Every contact and viewing form sends to Framer's own Forms inbox. Turn on email notifications in Framer so new leads reach you immediately.
• The call and WhatsApp buttons on each listing use the broker's phone number from the Team collection: change it there.

5. Arabic and other languages

• The Arabic version (right to left, its own typeface) is already set up under Localization. Translate your own new content there.
• Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese are ready as import packs if you want another language.

6. The interaction layer

• The light/dark switch, the filter smoothing, the structured data (JSON-LD) and a few interactions live in Site Settings → Custom Code. They are commented and work without changes. You can switch them off there if you ever want a plain site.

7. Go live on your domain

• In Site Settings → Domains, connect your own domain (needs a Framer site plan), then publish again.
• Update the page titles and descriptions in each page's settings, and the site description and social image in Site Settings, so search engines show your agency, not the demo.

Your licence

The Standard licence covers one website, for you or one client. The Agency licence covers up to five. Neither may be resold or shared. The full terms are on the Licence page.
